| Description | JAJAKI --Jaringan Kebijakan Publik Indonesia or the Indonesian Public Policy Network is a network of Indonesian institutions which have come together to form a consultative mechanism between the government and those it governs. JAJAKI aims to help the government develop policy options on complex issues in a more open and inclusive way. JAJAKI brings together major institutions in the country from the government to civil society, from the private sector to political parties - and gives them an avenue to interact with each other and develop fresh approaches and solutions for challenges facing Indonesia today. The results of JAJAKIs consultations will be channeled to the government to help form the basis for policies which will allow Indonesia to achieve a sustainable recovery. JAJAKI will promote an issues-based approach to politics and help the government move away from a highly technocratic way of making policies. |
